While I’m on the subject, have you ever read The Maker’s Diet by Jordan Rubin, the founder of Garden of Life? I’m reading it now for the first time, and it’s quite fascinating. Like Donna Gates of The Body Ecology Diet (a book which I highlyrecommend), Rubin focuses a great deal on the digestive tract’s bacterial balance. The more I read, the more convinced I become that the gut is absolutely critical to overall health and wellness, which is why I’m always looking for more ways to add probiotics to my diet.
