Kelly,

How exciting! I just love it when the recipes I post here work out for people. Thank you SO much for sharing your results. You know, I tried making cream cheese from some homemade raw goats' milk yogurt a couple of weeks ago, and I failed miserably. Oh wow. It was a spectacular failure. Perhaps cows' milk yogurt will work better. I'm going to give it another go!

I made this yesterday and it's fabulous! Thank you so much for the recipe. I used homemade cream cheese in it. It's very simple to make the cream cheese -- just put plain yogurt in a muslin jelly bag (either homemade yogurt from raw milk or a good quality organic brand from the store). Hang it above a bowl for about 24 hours and let all the whey drip out. What is left in the bag is wonderful cream cheese. It can be seasoned anyway you like or used plain in ice cream. The whey can be used for culturing veggies and soaking grains.
So glad I found this site!

Suz,

"Created" might be the wrong word. I've made up a few recipes, but for the most part, I think I've mostly had success modifying others' recipes to suit my own tastes and dietary needs.

I'll keep in mind that you want this ice cream. Maybe I can lure you to my home with it. ;-)
