These look great, but for a more budget option you could try any of the lunchboxes on our website www.lunchboxesetc.co.uk.

Great Post, I definitely agree it is highly important to do your research before purchasing an organic mattress, as sometimes companies make claims about their products that simply aren't true. However, I've been looking into Savvy Rest (glad to see that Alison purchased one and has thoroughly enjoyed it). They have an abundance of information regarding mattresses as a whole, organics, and they list their certifications for the organic claims they make. Definitely a great place to look at if you are in need of an organic mattress.

I bought these for the kids and I last summer and we have used them a lot. We checked out insulated lunch boxes during the after school sales and found one that fit each our boxes, and personalities, so that we could include a chill pack when needed.

It is amazing how much food you can pack into these. Even my 16 yo is satisfied with what these hold.

HA! I was just thinking that the amount of food in that box would be way too much for my man. Great Idea though. Usually one little glass container is plenty for him, and even then he doesn't finish it. Oh well.

Sarah,

Yes, I can see how they would be perfect for light grazing. I would enjoy such a box if I was working outside the home.

Kelly,

No, there is not pocket for an ice pack in the box itself, but the company separately sells an insulated bag designed to hold the box and an ice pack (and perhaps a water bottle too. I can't remember.) As long as you don't over-stuff the box, the lid seals nicely. I forgot to mention that one of the big containers has a matching lid, and there's also a tiny lidded compartment that can be added for things like salad dressing. If you're packing anything with liquid, you would definitely want to use those lids. I've never head leakage issues when using them, even when the box gets turned on its side or end.

Is there a pocket for an ice pack to keep things chilled?
How about leakage? Do the containers seal well if the box gets turned on end?

I bought these for my husband and I last fall and I have loved them. We both are grazers and tend to eat lunch as we go at work. The compartments are perfect for filling with veggie sticks, fruit pieces and nuts and I often would have a lentil salad or some yogurt in the biggest compartment. I agree, the servings are fairly small, especially for someone who might want a hearty lunch. I just love the convenience and the lack of garbage.

Fabulous!!!!
Thank you so much for the beautiful instructions on cultured veggies. I just started the Body Ecology Diet (actually I am starting part-way for now and will start in earnest in October or november when it will be easier to avoid fruits) and I am so excited about this new way of eating. So far i love the food, it is fun and easy and exciting to make the soups and cultured veggies, and I am feeling better already! THANK YOU, THANK YOU AGAIN. Shankari Rise
